1. Who we are
Rim & Bay ("the site") is an independent editorial digest describing places, transport and everyday life in Singapore. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any attraction, operator or public authority.
2. What we collect
In short: nothing. The site has no accounts, no comment systems, no tracking pixels and no advertising. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data on our servers. If you write to us by email, we receive what you choose to send — your address and your message — and use it only to reply.
3. What your browser stores
One small entry is saved in your browser's local storage, on your device only:
- rb-consent — remembers your answer to the cookie notice so it does not reappear.
It does not identify you, and it is never transmitted to us. You can remove it at any time via your browser's site-data settings. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
4. Hosting logs
Like any website, the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operational purposes. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.
5. Third-party services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, your IP address is visible to Google under its own privacy policy. No other third-party service is used — there is no analytics, advertising or social-media code on these pages.
6. Your rights
Data-protection laws that may apply to you — including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act and the privacy laws of the Gulf states — grant you rights over your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete; if you believe otherwise, contact us and we will respond promptly.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will be revised. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage.
